EmberStream Studio LLC is a North American software company founded in 2026. Its flagship product is YourBot, a Discord platform for communities and developers, with deep roots in MMO gaming communities.

EmberStream Studio was founded by Mike, who built the original YourBot bot in 2025 for a guild he helped run. Co-founder Paul joined when the team decided to turn the bot into a platform and led its technical architecture and engineering direction. The wider team comes from software engineering, infrastructure, and cloud backgrounds — fields where reliability and isolation aren't optional. Read the full origin on our About page.

No. We don't run ads, we don't sell user data, and we don't gate core features behind dark patterns. Our privacy policy is written in plain language.

EmberStream Studio's founding team comes from software engineering, infrastructure, observability, and cloud — fields where the cost of unreliable tools is high and people are used to building systems that run unattended. That shows up in YourBot's design: multi-tenant isolation, plugin sandboxing, dashboard-first configuration, and a roadmap shaped by the people actually running Discord servers. The team org is laid out on the About page.

The roadmap is driven by the people running communities, not investors or a marketing calendar. Beta testers get a direct feedback channel with the dev team, and Discord is the fastest way to flag a real-world problem or pitch a feature. We pick the work that solves friction we've felt ourselves running guild servers.

Discord & Authentication6

YourBot uses Discord OAuth2. You log in through Discord's official authorization flow — we never see or store your Discord password.

Yes, in two layered ways. Each plugin can be turned on or off per server from the web dashboard, so you only run the functionality you actually want. Plugins also declare the Discord permissions they need before they activate, and you can review or scope those permissions at any time. For maximum control, the Bring-Your-Own (BYO) bot token feature lets you run YourBot under your own Discord application with permissions you set yourself.

YourBot accesses server information, channel structure, roles, and member activity necessary to run the plugins you enable. We do not read private DMs, and data is isolated per server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes. YourBot supports Bring-Your-Own (BYO) bot tokens, allowing you to run the platform under your own Discord application for full control over branding and permissions.

Kick the bot from your server through Discord's normal kick or ban action — that immediately ends all access. To revoke dashboard authorization as well, remove the app from your Discord User Settings → Authorized Apps. If you'd like the data associated with your server deleted from our systems, email legal@emberstreamstudio.com and we'll process the request per our Privacy Policy.

Every server's data is fully isolated through multi-tenant architecture. One server cannot see, access, or affect another server's configuration, analytics, or plugin settings.

YourBot7

YourBot is a Discord platform for communities and developers — a modular plugin suite, a web dashboard, a plugin marketplace, and a developer SDK, with deep roots in MMO gaming communities as one of its core strengths. It combines modular plugins, a web dashboard, real-time analytics, and deep Discord integration in a single bot — with the first open plugin marketplace and developer SDK.

The core plugin suite includes Analytics, Announcements, Beacon Events, Giveaways, Group Finder, Sentinel, Social Feeds, Tickets, Join-to-Create Voice Channels, and Welcome. All are included with any tier and can be toggled on or off per server.

You get YourBot by signing in with Discord at yourbot.gg — it's self-serve, with no acceptance step. Review the plans on our YourBot page or at yourbot.gg/#pricing, then connect your server via Discord OAuth through the web dashboard. Questions? Email support@emberstreamstudio.com.

YourBot is an open platform, where most Discord bots are closed, single-purpose tools. Every feature is a modular plugin, there's a full web dashboard with no bot commands required, and it's the first to offer a plugin marketplace where developers can build, publish, and monetize their own plugins through an official SDK.

Yes. Everything is configured through the web dashboard — plugin toggling, channel assignments, role permissions, embed customization, and analytics. No bot commands needed.

The beta program targets servers with 50 to 500 members. The architecture is built for multi-tenant scale and designed to grow with your community as it expands.

No. While YourBot was born from MMO gaming communities and features like Group Finder are designed with that in mind, the platform's plugins — moderation, analytics, ticketing, events — are valuable for any active Discord server.

Marketplace & Developer SDK6

The marketplace is a curated catalog where server owners can discover, install, and manage community-built plugins with one click. Every marketplace plugin is sandboxed, reviewed for safety, and configurable per server.

Yes. The official Python SDK gives developers everything they need to build plugins that integrate directly into the platform. A dedicated developer portal handles builds, version management, logs, and publishing.

Yes. Once your plugin passes the review process and is published to the marketplace, you can set pricing and let servers subscribe. Monetization is built into the platform.

Every marketplace plugin runs in a sandboxed container with strict memory, CPU, and network isolation. Plugins cannot access other plugins, other servers' data, or make unauthorized network requests. All plugins go through a structured review process before publishing.

The marketplace is live at yourbot.gg/marketplace with 14+ plugins available today, and the developer portal and Python SDK are available now for building and publishing your own. Follow our Discord for updates on new plugins and features.

Plugins are built in Python using our official SDK. The developer portal handles builds, version management, logs, and publishing. Every plugin runs in a sandboxed runtime with strict isolation from other plugins and other servers' data. The SDK and developer portal are available now.

Pricing & Access5

Yes — YourBot has a free Squire tier that's self-serve and free during beta, including the core plugin suite and the web dashboard at no cost. The paid Launch tier is live now with milestone-based early-supporter pricing that adds expanded capabilities and higher limits. See yourbot.gg/#pricing for the full breakdown.

The paid Launch tier is live now with milestone-based early-supporter pricing — the rate rises at each milestone, so early adopters lock in the lowest price. It adds expanded capabilities, higher rate limits, and priority support on top of the free Squire tier. See the current pricing at yourbot.gg/#pricing.

No problem — beta isn't required to follow along. Join our Discord to get launch and milestone updates, and you'll be able to add YourBot to your server when it opens to the public. Beta is for server operators who want a direct feedback line and are comfortable using a product that's still being shaped.

No — the core plugins in the free Squire tier (Analytics, Announcements, Beacon Events, Giveaways, Group Finder, Sentinel, Social Feeds, Tickets, Join-to-Create Voice Channels, Welcome) are included out of the box and stay with you. Paid tiers unlock expanded capabilities, higher rate limits, developer tools, and premium support — not the features you already have.

If you remove the bot, plugin event tracking stops immediately and dashboard access ends with the OAuth session. Stored server data follows the retention timelines in our Privacy Policy. Server administrators can request full deletion of their server's data at any time by emailing legal@emberstreamstudio.com.
