Engineering shapes how we turn real needs into software.
EmberStream Studio LLC is a North American software company that designs, develops, and maintains its own software products. Its work combines software development, automation, and infrastructure, with a focus on practical needs and thoughtful engineering.
Origin
Origin2025
Out of necessity.
It started the way most good tools do, out of necessity. In 2025, EmberStream founder Mike began building a custom Discord bot for a tight-knit MMO community he helped run. The goal was simple: replace the patchwork of unreliable bots, manual processes, and workarounds that every server operator knows too well. What started as a personal project quickly grew into something the community relied on daily. Group finding, moderation, event coordination, and analytics, all managed from one place.
Pivot
The game ended. The tools didn't.
When circumstances in the gaming space shifted and the community's primary game shut down, a choice had to be made. The tools that had been built solved problems every Discord community faces, regardless of the game. Mike brought on co-founder Paul, who saw the potential and led the platform's technical architecture and engineering direction, building it around a unique product scope rooted in real community needs.
The founding group came from engineering and highly technical backgrounds. Software development, infrastructure, observability, and cloud were nothing new to the team. Instead of letting the project fade, they recognized the broader demand for well-engineered automation tools and committed to building something lasting. The focus moved from serving one community to building a platform that could serve thousands.
Studio2026
Built over eight months.
In 2026, EmberStream Studio LLC was formally established as a North American software company. The product began as MMO Maid, with its own name and persona. The team spent the first four to five months developing it around that identity before co-founder Dan Nelson came up with the name YourBot. Paul designed the new brand and it has become the mascot that customers know today.
Over eight months of development, the team built YourBot into a Discord platform with ten built-in services, a web dashboard, a plugin marketplace, and a developer SDK. The platform also includes Plugin Builder for creating custom plugins with AI, and Start Your Server for designing, reviewing, and building Discord servers with channels, roles, and permissions.
Today
YourBot today.
YourBot is live. The Free plan includes all ten built-in services on the shared bot. Premium adds a custom bot identity, private hosting, and access to marketplace plugins.
Developers can build and publish plugins through the SDK and developer portal. AI tools support server setup and plugin creation.

EmberStream Studio LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Michigan limited liability company. These Terms of Service govern your use of emberstreamstudio.com, our public company website. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
This website shares information about the studio, our work, careers, and ways to contact us. Browsing it does not create a product account or subscription. Our products and restricted employee systems have separate terms and policies. Use of YourBot is governed by the YourBot Terms of Service; these website terms do not replace them.
2. Acceptable use
You may use this website for lawful purposes. You must not:
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, bypass security controls, or introduce malicious code.
Disrupt the website, overload its infrastructure, or conduct security or load testing without permission.
Impersonate the studio or its staff, misrepresent your identity, or send unlawful, threatening, or fraudulent communications.
Harvest personal information or use website materials in a way that violates applicable law or someone else’s rights.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect security, or comply with law.
3. Website content and intellectual property
The website’s original content, design, code, logos, and branding belong to EmberStream Studio LLC or their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. You may view and share links to our public pages. Other uses of our protected materials require permission unless allowed by law or a separate license. Open-source materials remain subject to their own licenses.
You retain ownership of information and materials you send us. You give us permission to use them only as needed to handle your inquiry or application, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please send only materials you are entitled to share. To report suspected copyright infringement on this website, contact legal@emberstreamstudio.com with the material’s location and details of your claim.
4. Links, careers, and separate services
Links to LinkedIn, social platforms, our products, and other websites take you to separate services with their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party content or availability. A link does not itself imply endorsement.
Job listings are informational and may change or close. An inquiry, application, or listing does not guarantee an interview, an offer, or employment. Any employment or business engagement requires a separate agreement.
5. Availability and warranties
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website. We aim to keep information accurate, but do not guarantee that every page is complete, current, or error-free, or that access will be uninterrupted.
To the extent permitted by law, this website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmberStream Studio LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of or inability to use this website.
Our total liability for claims relating to this website will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us for use of this website during the preceding twelve months or US $100. This limit does not alter any separate product or business agreement.
Nothing in these terms limits liability or any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act or other applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EmberStream Studio LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs resulting from your unlawful use of this website, your violation of these terms, or materials you submit that infringe another person’s rights.
8. Governing law and disputes
Michigan law and applicable United States federal law govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and subject to any mandatory protections available where you live. Before starting formal proceedings, contact legal@emberstreamstudio.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute with us within 30 days.
Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, disputes arising from these terms or this website will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except where prohibited by law or where you opt out below. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration agreement. Hearings will take place by video or telephone unless the arbitrator requires an in-person hearing at a location reasonably convenient for you under those rules. Filing, administration, and arbitrator fees are governed by those rules. Either party may instead bring an eligible individual claim in small claims court. A court with jurisdiction may enter judgment on an arbitration award.
Individual claims. To the extent permitted by law, you and EmberStream Studio LLC agree to bring claims individually, rather than as part of a class or representative action. Agreeing to arbitration means each party waives a jury trial for disputes subject to arbitration.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of arbitration and the class action waiver by emailing legal@emberstreamstudio.com within 30 days of first accepting these website terms. Include your name, a contact email address, and a statement that you decline arbitration under the EmberStream Studio website terms. Opting out does not affect the remaining terms.
Subject to applicable law and the small claims exception, disputes not subject to arbitration belong in the state or federal courts in Michigan, and both parties consent to jurisdiction there. If the class action waiver is unenforceable for a particular claim or request for relief, that claim proceeds in those courts rather than arbitration; other claims remain subject to arbitration.
9. Changes and general provisions
We will post revised terms here with an updated date and provide advance notice on the website of material changes. Changes to the dispute provisions do not apply to disputes that arose before those changes took effect. Continued use after the stated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms govern use of this website and do not replace separate agreements for our products, employment, or other engagements. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue, subject to the dispute provisions above. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, responsibility for misuse, and disputes survive the end of your website use.
EmberStream Studio LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It covers visitors to emberstreamstudio.com and people who contact the studio through the email and careers links on this website.
Our products and restricted employee systems are separate. Information processed through YourBot, including Discord activity, subscriptions, plugins, and AI tools, is covered by the YourBot Privacy Policy. Visiting this company website does not give us access to your Discord account or server.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This website does not display third-party ads or load advertising pixels.
2. Information we collect
Information you send us. When you email the studio, we receive your email address, any name or contact details you provide, your message, and attachments.
Recruitment information. If you apply through a linked job posting or send an application, we may receive your professional profile, résumé, work history, and communications. LinkedIn or another application service handles submissions under its own privacy policy; this website has no application upload form.
Technical information. Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information, and diagnostic or security records to deliver and protect the website.
Optional website analytics. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics processes cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referrers, browser and device information, approximate location, and interactions such as navigation and outbound-link clicks. It is not loaded when you decline.
Your cookie choice. Your browser stores whether you accepted or declined analytics and when you made that choice.
You do not need an account to browse this website. It does not collect payment details or process purchases. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, consider applications, maintain business communications, operate and secure the website, investigate technical problems or misuse, and comply with legal obligations. With your consent, we use website analytics to understand and improve our pages. We do not use this website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Service providers and other disclosures
Hosting and email. We use Google Cloud services for website infrastructure and Google Workspace for business email. These providers process information needed to deliver those services.
Analytics. With your consent, Google LLC processes website usage information through Google Analytics. Our website disables Google signals and advertising personalization signals. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Legal and security needs. We may disclose information where required by law or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, or address security threats.
Business changes. Information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of relevant assets, subject to applicable protections. We will provide notice of material changes to how it is handled.
Our social and careers links open separate services, including LinkedIn. Those services collect information under their own policies when you visit or interact with them. They are links, rather than embedded social feeds or advertising pixels on this website.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to communications, running the studio, and securing the website; steps you request before entering an agreement; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent for optional analytics. We balance legitimate interests against your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Consent preference. The browser storage entry ess_cookie_consent remembers your choice and its date for 182 days, after which we ask again on your next visit. It stays on your device and is not an advertising identifier.
Optional analytics cookies. Google Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_*, distinguish visits and measure website usage. They may last up to two years unless cleared sooner. They are used only after you accept analytics.
Choose Decline to browse without optional analytics. Cookie settings lets you change your choice at any time; opening it pauses analytics, and declining stops collection. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Clearing your preference means we will ask again.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not automatically change the cookie setting here; optional analytics follows the choice you make in our consent controls.
7. Retention
We retain correspondence and recruitment information only as long as needed to handle the matter, maintain relevant business records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Hosting logs and analytics records are retained for the operational and measurement purposes above, subject to the retention settings of the services we use. Cookie expiry is separate from the retention of analytics records.
You may request deletion of personal information by contacting us. Where we must retain limited records for legal or security reasons, we will explain the applicable exception.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS for the public website and access controls for business systems. No system or transmission is completely secure. Report a suspected security issue to legal@emberstreamstudio.com. We will provide any breach notices required by applicable law.
We operate from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on appropriate contractual or other recognized transfer mechanisms. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Send requests to legal@emberstreamstudio.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. No account is required to make a request. We aim to respond within 30 days and will meet applicable legal deadlines, explaining any permitted extension. You may ask us to review a decision if we decline your request.
10. California residents
We voluntarily offer California residents the ability to know, access, correct, and request deletion of their personal information, even where the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, does not apply to our business. Where it does apply, all applicable statutory rights remain available, including the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
